* The High Holiday Request Forms and Yizkor Booklet Request Forms have gone out. I have also attached a copy of them to this email. Please mail them back to the office as soon as possible. If you have not received them in the mail please call the office and let me know*

1) Please send in your Dues and your Pledges to the above mailing address. Please act now to help make the Synagogue financially responsible. We have attached a Fund letter for your convenience.

2) Sinai is now accepting credit card payments for dues and invoices either current or past due. We want to make it easier and offer the flexibility of payment options. You can also call the office during the hours of 9:30AM - 1:00PM if you prefer. Please rest assured that your credit card information will be protected and at your request, destroyed by shredder. 3) Selichos will be this Motzei Shabbos September 4, 2010. Selichos Refreshments will be at 11:00 pm . We are in need of Sponsors. Rabbi's Selichos Address will be at 11:45 and Selichos will be at 12:00 am.

4) Sinai will be having a Dairy Kiddush on Shabbos Shuva September 11, 2010. We are in need of sponsors for this Kiddush. If you would like to help sponsor the Kiddush, please email or call the office.

4.5) Sinai Synagogue will be having it's annual Picnic on Sunday September 19, 2010. It will be located at University Schools Picnic Area on SOM Center Road from 12:00-3:00 pm. The price will be pre-paid reservations - Adults $15, Children $10.00 or at the door price - Adults $18, Children $12.50. There will be Wraps ( Turkey, Tuna & Veggie) along with various sides, drinks and dessert. Bring your family and your dogs and have fun! Please call or email to make reservations as soon as possible to the Sinai office.

5) Sinai Synagogue Shabbos services on October 2, 2010 will be held at 9:00am at the former Temple Emanuel on Green Road. Jerry Zahler invites the entire congregation to celebrate his Bar-Mitzvah with a Kiddush Luncheon. OUR SHABBOS SERVICES WILL BE AT TEMPLE EMANUEL FOR THAT DATE.

6) Sinai Synagogue will have a Sno - Cone booth at the Gross Schechter annual Rib Burnoff on Monday September 6th, 2010 from 12:00-5:00 pm. We are in need of people to volunteer their time to work the booth. This is a great way to get Sinai Synagogues name out to the community.
We need volunteers for the following schedule:
3 to 4 persons per shift:
3rd shift 3:15 to 5:30
This schedule overlaps so everyone learns what to do. We can adjust it any way we need to.
Please let me know which shift(s) you and/or your kids can help staff.
Please email or call the office if you would like to volunteer your time.

7) Please call or email Fran at the Office with any Simchas (Birthday, Engagement, Baby, Graduation) or Condolences, so it can be added to our weekly email.

8)Yahrzeits, Birthdays and Anniversaries, can be commemorated or celebrated by sponsoring a breakfast or pastry Shabbos Kiddush. Please contact the office in advance with the date you wish to sponsor so supplies can be ordered.

9)Call the office (216-765-0770) with the names of any sick you wish to be included on the Refuah Shleimah list weekly. Also, please be sure to advise Fran to remove them as they get well.

10)Refuah Shleimah to Al Wasserman, Hadass bas Chaya, Rena bas Batya (Rena Kelson), Beila bas Luba, Shmuel ben Osher Anshel ( Barb Beder's Father), Tzvi Hirsh ben Devorah, Mindel bas Basya, Shmuel ben Sender (Samuel Beder), Sarah Esther bas Hadassah (Jeff Beder's Mother), Tommy Mendlovic, Yehoshua Yisroel ben Yocheved and Chaya Leah bas Esther Rivka .
